Thinking of buying the autocom logic wired system with the bluetooth adaptor to work with BMW Nav 5.

Does anyone have any experience of this set up? Wife and I would like to listen to same music through sat nav and also both hear the sat nav instructions as well as talk to each other. I understand that this set up will allow this. However, does the sat nav instructions override speech/music and is there then a delay in speech resuming due to the bluetooth connection? Any one experienced bluetooth drop outs ?

I have been used to an old autocom hard wired system that allowed all of this.

TIA.

Hi mate

The logic doesn't have a power port for the Bluetooth adaptor but can be spliced into the autocom feed, depending on which input you use the gps can override music and bike to bike input, and you should both be able to hear the GPS and music, however the Spa system has a lot more adjustment for pillion and rider settings. If your playing music from the GPS you should be ok if you want more flexibility then the SPA system would be better. Fitted Autocoms to two of my mates bikes recently both LC's both with the Bluetooth adaptor for GPS connection, both say it's not that loud, and that's after doing the fiddle in the SPA box that Autocom recommend about adjusting the GPs input and phone output.

or one can use part BTM-02-L which is a bluetooth connection module that fits inside the Logic unit. Ask Sam at Chainspeed if it is any good.
