Autocom on F650GS

The SO's 650 arrived at the weekend - I need to install an Autocom and Kenwood radio. Has anyone done this before or have ideas where it might all go?

I want to hardwire the kit to the bike where it can't be seen. Using a top-box is not an option.

I would suggest that the space under the tail unit would do fine, the one where the seat release is. Make a hollow foam block that is fits inside but can be compressed to get it in or out but expand to wedge it in the void, power it from the light cct. With the long drop lead led under the seat and reappering between the seat and "tank"
