I had an Auto-com wired system on my Explorer and I'm wondering if now is the time to go for a Bluetooth Scarla Cardio G9, as it would be nice to get rid of the wires.

How good is the G9?

Is there anything better?

I tried the G9 with my Autocom(via bluetooth dongle) and was not too happy. The volume is way lower than a wired system, could not hear it at motorway speeds.
Went back to a wired system........

I use a Scarla rider Q2 all the time, I only use it for passenger comms and occasional sat nave, but I have had no problems at all, and thats with earplugs

have the g9 set & its been great, even at speeds well in excess of 70mph.phone calls crystal clear, bike to bike, passenger all fine.music is just as good.the only thing i would say is get the speakers set up in your lid properly.they are really thin and you can raise them closer using foam but i've got no complaints with sound level.
you won't be disappointed.I moved from autocom to G9 & would never go back.no wiring no faffing and the battery lasts for ages & charges really quick.:thumb

Sena SMH10 - came top in a recent Ride magazine test and mine works far better than my wired Autocom ever did :thumby:
