We have old (but hardly used) Pro 7 sport, Kenwood TK 3101 set up hard wired to fused switched live.

Switch on both give 'confirmation bleep'
Both play MP3
Both transmit
One set up does not receive (Radio has no green light)
Swap radios.. fault stays with same Bike
Swap radio power lead or radio & power lead.. fault stays with same Bike

Contacted Autocom and they say it's Radio fault as not receiving.
I don't see how this can be the case if radio/lead work OK on other Bike.

Have I missed something or can it only be fault with Autocom itself.

Sounds to me like it could be either the autocom or the 5 pin lead. However try running the radios via battery first. I had a problem that when bike powered via a battery eliminator (either home made or ebay) then the radios were not very reliable. I then tried battery power and they all worked fine. I have since used the autocom power lead that draws power from the autocom itself as it seams the problem was an earth loop generated by the radio and the autocom being earthed via a different earth but connected together.

Hope this makes sense and helps.
