Hi all I have a autocom kit 200 fitted to my 2010 r1200 adv. which was originally on my r1200rt.I only use this for my Garmin zumo 550,ie no Bluetooth, no phone, no connection with pillion. Does the team think a Super pro is a good upgrade or should I just fit better in helmet speakers. That's my only gripe its not loud enough and its poor quality. Cheers Pete:beerjug:

I went from an Active PLUS (kit 200) to an SPA and was impressed by the improved quality of sound, it also has the external noise sensor that enables volume to increase automatically as your speed increases. I'd recommend the Zumo link to be via a Part 4066 cable whether you swap unit or not.
However, unless you can pick up a good s/h SPA it would be hard to justify the cost to swap with the features you're using. In my case I use a Zumo 590 with iPhone and Kenwood PMR radio, it works faultlessly and the sound quality is superb. If you buy s/h make sure you get the rider headset with the noise sensor.

I am surprised that you don't find the AP loud enough - this isn't usually an issue with this model. Are the speakers positioned correctly in your helmet. This is critical. The speakers in both headsets are the same but the SPA does have the advantage of auto volume. Can you not increase the volume on the Zumo?
