I put my name down for one, he reckons it may be below 200 Canadian dollars, which at the current exchange rate works out around £117+ shipping.
After reading about the MaxKool tank hitting the chain, putting a hole in the bottom of it, it will be interesting to see how big a cutout this guy has made to allow for the chain when the suspension is compressed.
Worth a risk at the price, the MaxKool tank works out around the £400 mark.
The X-tank from maxkool and friens has been updated, now the chain wont hitthe tank anymore an poeple who had one allready are send a piece/strip of somekind so that it wont rub the tank.
Poeple who have normale suspansion on the rear of the x challange didn,t had that problem.
The xtank is a good piece of work, and only maxkool is who had damaged the tank other riders i know haddetn had zero problems.(in the eastern europe rally or in lybie).
There's also this tank. Cheaper than the xtank and available now, unlike the plastic one which has been promised for ages but never arrives. Made in blighty too so shipping is not a problem.
