The wife and I are off around Europe for 6 weeks on the bikes. Mainly camping, but with the odd night in hotels. Taking the multifuel stove along, and the folding BBQ, but wondering about getting a cheapy gas stove as back up. I'm wondering which sort of refill is likely to be most readily available in Europe. Quite fancy the screw thread coleman type units, but wondering if the thread size is universal. Any help gratefully received.

thread size is universal. if your just wanting it as a spare/back-up. buy one over there, if you need it. as it'll be cheaper, you'll have the gas cans there, so its 2 things less to carry.

You can even get an adapter in camping shops with the screw thread on top which hold the universally available pierceable gaz canisters, easy then
