AVG 8.5 vs Kaspersky

Which is the best?

Been offered Kaspersky from Barclays bank. Just recently loaded up 8.5 So which is the best all rounder please. Thankfully its not too late for a refund if kasps turns out the better!

I had kaspersky on a previous pc and it ground it to a holt, i now use Avast. It's free and kept all the bad things at bay.

The Kaspersky Suite is OK, though the interface is a bit clunky. My opinion only.

I tried the GRC test on its Firewall and the result was an unqualified approval as the PC was totally invisible to any probe. More effective than Zone Alarm's free Firewall in that respect.

There is no charge from Barclays for Kaspersky. As free as a very free thing. So give it whirl and see how it is for you. But remember not to have two AV products working on the same PC as they do not do the cohabiting thing.
