Kindly put a link for a video of Chris riding,
trouble is my windows media player won't play it.
Is this because it's an avi file and not an m peg file.
Cheers

No.

Well, sort of.

Yes then.

You can either use the Real player to view it (its a free and fairly small download) or the latest version of windows media player (ver 9 i think) will play avi files.......

I prefer the WMP cos altough its microsoft, it's more flexible than the real player...for example, some of my avi files wont fast forward in real player but will in WMP.

Sorry....one hell of a night last night....i'll re-read and make more sense in a while......

Hi Mark,

Sorry about that. I tested the avi file using both Windas Media Player and Real Player. Just had a look at my version of Media Player and I'm using version 9.0

I suggest that you go to the microsuck web site and use Windows Update to get the latest version. Otherwise go to the Real website and download one of the free players.

Regards,

Roy.

please do yourself a favour & avoid official real player. it's an intrusive POS that will take over every file association on your pc & worse given half a chance.

i use "real alternative" does everthing you want real player for, without the grief. i got it originally from kazaa lite site now closed. i found it still available here.

ps. the k-lite codec pack is good if you have any probs playing avi's etc. & need a codec.
