Just got the GSA all polished and shiny tonight for my run down to Portugal on Thursday and thought "Its a lovely night I'll take it for a Whizz".
So I got all Togged up and went for a Gentle Meander thumb) up round Otterburn and Rothbury, bearing in mind that I had better take it easy 'cos I didn't want to spoil my hols by waking up in Hospital somewhere........


ANYHOO, Had a nice bimble around , got home around 9-00 pm decided to clean the Death off the fairing and front end and BINGO!!! the friggin headlamp protectors' gone !!! -Fallen Off- Dissappeared- and its scratched the crap out of the paintwork on the beak !
Now thats not too much of a problem.......BUT....now its gone, what are the odds that I'll need to buy a new headlamp within the next few weeks ?
Its a dead cert I reckon.
SOOOOOoooo does anyone have a 1150 GSA BMW headlamp Protector I can Buy/Borrow/rent/steal ? for collection ? Preferably before Thursday at 8-00 am when I set off.

Is that the one with bars so far apart, anything short of a half-brick would pass through it?

I've not smashed a headlight either, even when Forry was throwing stones over my bike in the Cambrian (felt like concrete slabs).

I've got a clear perspex one you're welcome to borrow, it's for the standard 1150 but I think the lights are the same? Let me know if it'll be of use.
