I bought a sheet of steel mesh from B&Q for £4 and thought I would have a go. Didn't know if the mesh was galvanised so left a bit in water over night to see if it would rust. No evidence of rust in the morning but I sprayed it with silver enamel paint anyway.
Enough mesh to make 5 or 6 of them so I made another and painted it black.
Just took screen, instrument cover and headlight out to fit. Took 20mins in all to make. Not as pretty as some you can get but what dya fink?
