............................. didn't miss a beat all week, and it did the same for me last year on the Morocco dash :clap

You know we're only interested in the breakdowns :D

Oh dear me... :blast

That is so disapointing to hear... Come on, something must have gone wrong...

Just the other day... MY bloody panniers acted up again... I must write to BMW and complain...

I mean really... it almost took me 30 seconds to clip them on to my bike... This is disgusting... it usually takes me 25 seconds

Should I sell and buy a KTM :nenau:nenau:nenau

When I saw your title my heart sank and I thought what now, more people should post on the positive aspects then the site would have a more balanced view. I know the GS isn't perfect, but let's be honest it is a great bike to ride.

Great post, thanks.

Snap...

On the same Trot as Darkhorse and my 1200 GSA didn't miss a beat, nor use any oil.

That's 22,000 miles (all spent touring, including Morocco Dash and Turkey Trot) in a little under two years, without any significant problems at all. Similar, to the 23,000 in 18 months on my previous bike, a vanilla 1200GS.

When I rode mine to Istanbul I had a bulb blow in Bulgaria :spitfire

Glad you guys are back safe and sound, looking forward to the write ups :thumb2
