Hi All,

Having sold my 04 1150 GSA back in Jan to cover the cost of solicitors fees for a rather expensive divorce I am on the verge of returning to the fold.

I was thinking of buying a new last of th eline 1200GS on one of the deals about at the mo. Given that I only have a smal deposit some of the finance offers looked quite appealing.

All was going well until I walked into a dealers to see a secondhand 07 GSA - it was ok though; it was sold!!

I've since picked up a message from the dealer to say the sale has fallen through and to ask if i want it!! DO I WANT IT..............?!?!?!

So come on guys I need to know whether £10k for an 07 GSA with 7k miles is about right. Extra wise there are heated grips, ABS and OBC. There aren't luggage rails or spots and they are the only other bits I think I want fitted if I bought one new.

Is that a decent price or am I being taken for a mug - not for the first time, nor for the last before anyone else says it!

I guess that's probably about the going rate. I doubt that there are any new GSA's still available? When I ordered mine around a week ago there were only a few left.

I paid 10,900 for a new 07 GSA OTR in Alpine White with every extra - chrome exhaust, heated grips, tyre pressure control, computer, fog lights, white lenses, alarm, abs, asc and pannier fastenings. Full retail was 12,100.

If there aren't any new GSA's around dealers can pretty much charge what the market will stand.

Check MCN and Biketrader websites for comparisons of price. £10k looks a bit high for a 7000 miler without luggage etc. It's not as if it's highly spec'd.

Hi Steve, the dealers currently have access to BMW management bikes, all 07 GS's and I was shown a list of 14 on Sat that my dealer was looking to reserve. All under 2k miles with BIG spec's. I was only interested in the GS and they were all priced at £7,995. I bought a rock red GS with 1,000 mls, heated grips,tyre pressure control, OB computer, ABS, Stability Control ASC, white lenses, cross spokes, anti-theft alarm. This is about 11k's worth of bike so not a bad price at all. Maybe you can ask your dealer about these?
