I’ve been away from the site for a while with an ongoing divorce and house move. Our usual touring group has reduced from five to sometimes two at best. The planned ride to Italy this year didn’t happen mainly because of the heavy rains in Europe - so I’m ready to get involved a but more.
The KTM and the Roadglide have gone to be replaced with this little beauty. Delighted so far

That's a beast! Welcome back.
Sorry to hear about your domestic upheaval, been there, done that, it's not a good time, so all the best. John.

Looks the business! A trip to Europe on that would be grand, pair of high up soft panniers and a roll bag and off you go. How big is the tank, decent range?

That's lovely, a chum of mine has one.
Hope you have as much fun on yours as he does on his.

I hope you've got a nice plate on it?

They are stunning machines, congratulations on your purchase. 👍

Tank range is about 140-160 miles but I haven’t let it drop low enough to really know.

She’s on a private plate JOY 41

Got the panniers and a rack so yes ready to go

Just need the weather now

Cheers A

A beast is that 👌

I need to stop looking at the photo. It's rather nice.

Do they carry their weight low down or are they a struggle moving them around?

They are easy if you sit on them to do it. I haven’t tried pulling and shoving to be honest

Nice, my mate Rich and I did a 1000 mile round trip this summer with him on his Rocket. He managed fine with the soft panniers and rack.

I Love these Rockets. I had the first incarnation with an urban tiger kit on. Was a second bike in the garage alongside the GSA. Used to get a lot of attention when riding or when parked up. I loved it even though it didn't like rear tyres, It used to eat them. the new models like yours look fantastic. enjoy .

I’m really pleased with it although the panniers zips seem quite flimsy.

Can anyone suggest a better screen for touring - without ruining the looks of the thing ?

Did a ride to the Black Forest with a mate in the Spring 👍

Mine. I might paint it Cobra blue with a white stripe.

There is a South African on YouTube that done that. Looks Great.
Like the screw heads on the front fairing and the holes in the heat shields.

Funnily enough. I purchased a Red 3R two weeks ago.
