bad vibes!!

Just finished rebuilding an 1150 for a friend and today test rode it for the first and could not belive how smooth it ran compared to mine,no vibes what so ever in fact I think it's the smoothest oilhead I have ever riden.Mine has never had the throttle bodies balanced in 10,000 miles,is it time for balancing?do you think they are the cause of my vibes. Whats the best tool for the job.Andy

I balance the throttle bodies almost every time I get the spanners out. It only takes 10 minutes and likely as not they are out a bit every time. Well worth it to get rid of the vibes.

I just use 2 of the set of four vacuum gauges I bought for the multis. I am sure there are better things out there, but they seem to work just fine.

Same here. I use a Morgan Carbtune. A Twinmax seems to be the tool of choice though.
