I have a Baehr Intercom that has been taken off my 12RT.
It was working fine before removal and when it was fitted it was a very expensive piece of kit.
I'm happy to post it to anyone who can use it but there are a few things you need to be aware of:-
The lead from the unit to my crash helmet does have a couple of pieces of insulating tape to keep it held together.
It is a hard wired system so you can't have it working in conjuction with a Blue tooth system.
It does include a connector to a Navi III, I'm told this won't work with a Nav IV.
The system itself was designed specifically for a 12 RT, I'm not sure if it would work with any other BMW bikes.
Baehr are a German Company who don't sell their products in the UK. The system itself is excellent & Baehr have a very good repution.
Spare parts can be obtained direct from the company but they are very, very expensive.
It could be useful to either someone happy to try it as a complete product or for someone who has a Baehr unit already & just wants to hang on to it to cannabalise (sp?) it for spares.
I would hope that if anyone does say they want it they won't then sell it on please. Thanx.
