Baffled?

Just noticed this morning that the baffle from my Remus Titanium end can has dissapeared!!!

Anyway took it to the dealer and they were very helpful but said Remus have never heard anything like this and want the can back to have a look at it.

Anybody else heard of this happening?

Do you think someone could have nicked it?

Its better with the baffle out anyway, a deeper more basso profundo note.

These GS's are powerful you know, they simply blow the baffles out of the exhaust!

Never had a problem with mine (still rivetted in from new), but mine is actually louder with the baffle in than my mates with the baffle out! Crazy but true!

Yep, my baffle came out in France. The rivet snapped and the baffle had worked it's way out about 6 inches. I only noticed it when we'd stopped. Pulled it all the way out and bunged it in my tankbag for the rest of the hols.

Riveted it back in after a couple of months running it without - too much drone on motorways - and the rivet snapped again. I've just bolted it in with liberal amounts of nut lock.

Didn't bother reporting it as it was only the rivet that snapped and was easily fixed.
