Hi - I have searched and dont seem to get very positive response to the use of the Bqglux 'tank' cover and tankbag options, had a look at their site today and it seems to show weird looking yellow/ black cover as only option. Bike will be grey if I buy it so looking for the black option..
Anyone had much dealings with these on 800 GS ?? :augie

I q liked the detach-ability on my prev 1150 Gs's ..

Here is a black one ...

I am not using one though, I have the Famsa tank bag and very happy with it .. Recently hired a 1200GS, with a hook (front) and zip tank bag combination, what a piece of rubbish, did not like that at all.

Famsa here: http://www.adventure-spec.com/shop/...g-overland-motorcycling-luggage/prod_142.html

Thanks for NN link, seems v pricey for a wee strip of material doesnt it - time you add the bag you'd be near 200 quid

Looks like the Famsa option is best value of similar type,,:nenau

800gs tank bag

thanks for the info guys - I see NN ssite doent mention the GS tho - is there a great difference in tank ( cover ) ??

Stuart

I also have the Wunderlich tank bag from NN on my F650GS. I agree with what others have already said. A well made piece of kit with good functionality.

I was an off road ride with someone last weekend and they had a famsa bag. Its a bit wider than the above which caused their horn to go off whenever they turned left! I think NN also has something that covers the horn switch to stop this.

That was me...

To be fair, Malcolm, it only operated the horn on full lock - it didn't actually restrict the lock either. In normal (i.e., on-road) use I've never had it happen (yet).
