Baglux tank cover

Can anyone confirm that, as I suspect, a Baglux tank cover for an < '07 GS won't fit the current '08 / '09 bikes?

Also, although I suspect that the full Remus system which I've got on my '07 bike will fit the later bike, I'm not so sure about my Power Commander. Has anyone tried it?

While I'm at it, can I just confirm that a Bagster Dzeta tank bag simply doesn't fit the GS tank cover.....

Bagster tank cover

I have the 2008 cover on my 2008 bike and as the tank is quite a different shape around the filler I am certain that the cover is NOT the same as that for the 2004 onwards model ; when I ordered the Bagster cover I was required to specify whether it was the 2008 model (rather than the original.) You can easily check on their website and you will almost certainly find that the part numbers are different. BAG1564U is for the 2008 model onwards, U refers to the colour.

Hi,
I had an 04 GS now a 08/09GSA and I have been told that the full Remus system I have will fit but a piece on the lower silencer pipe needs to be removed/cut off its the angled bit that sticks out. I haven't fitted mine yet but will do after the 1st service.
