Hi
This is my first post to this forum so please be gentle with me.
Have just fitted a baglux tank cover to my bike. However the tankbag l used on my old r1100s is not suitable for the gs tank shape. Im suer others here use a baglux tankbag on there bikes so just wondering which you use and how well it fits.

Hi Mark and welcome to the site :thumb

I use the Baglux Trail bag, nice and well made like all the Baglux stuff. Just big enough to hold the usual day items, etc.

Fits the 1200 tank quite well IMHO.

Unlike some of the larger bags that just look plain out of place. :(

But try the search button, using the word "Baglux". A good number of threads and posts with pictures to give you a better understanding.

Hope that helps?

Welcome to the site Mark.

(I've copied your post to the new members section so you can be properly introduced :thumb2 )

I use the Alpha tank bag. 30 litres expanded and nice and neat when not.

I used the City Bag. Fitted very well on the GS.

A word of caution Mark, the Bagster tank cover tends to make the fuel tank side panels come off at speed. There are a few posts on the subject if you do a search.

The easy fix is to use cable ties around the big black plastic dzus clips inside the tank panels at the front lower edge to stop them coming undone. This requires two small holes to be drilled inside the plastic side panels through the stiffening webs of the dzus clip housing to accept the cable ties, but it is worth doing to prevent your panels flying off like an air brake in the wind.
