Bahnstormer offer 4 Plus and 10 Plus Servicing, so our servicing costs will be lower than the same service at an independent garage but with the reassurance of a BMW stamp in the service book and warrantable repairs using genuine BMW parts.

4 Plus - If your bike is over 4 years old then you will receive 25% off the labour on all work carried out.

10 Plus - If your bike is over 10 years old then you will receive 40% off the labour on all work carried out.

Please call Andy for a quote on 01420 587007 or e-mail andy@bahnstormer.

so up until an owners bike is 4 years old, your charging more for the same thing?

sounds like you should be making all servicing cheaper to me.

, so our servicing costs will be lower than the same service at an independent garage .

Blimey, a 60% discount... In that case I'll be booking all my servicing jobs in with you, charging my customers my extortionate all year round prices and pocketing the difference. :D

The reason for discounted servicing on older bikes, is because we know once a bike is out of its warranty period it will most probably disappear from the dealer network and end up in a non BMW workshop. So with this offer hopefully we will see more of the older bikes.

If you are looking for a great deal on servicing at the moment, and your bike is under 4 years old, then this month we are offering 25% of the labour and 10% of the parts on any scheduled service. Just quote BAHN1 when making the booking and have the bike serviced before the end of October.

still looks like you're overcharging on the newer bikes. twin cams aside, it's the same work, but somehow you can do it cheaper if the bike's slightly older :blast

If your bike qualifies for the 4+ or 10+ then the discount is for all work, however the offer for bikes under 4 years which runs until the end of October is only for scheduled servicing.

If your bike is under 4 years old it's always worth calling us for a quote anyway, on 01420 587007 or e-mail [email protected]

i live near Bahnstormer, but take my bike to you,.... so, in this case i'll let Bahnstormer service the GS, pay them and send you the differance... it'll save me having to ride up the A3 to london and you taking the bike back to Hampshire!!... result.... i think!

My last service came to £55 more than I was quoted so make sure the quote is in writing, I was happy with the work, but not with an innacurate quote.

Have to say I agree that if a dealer can afford to knock so much of a job then they must be charging too much to begin with.

I would feel a bit cheated had I just spent close to £15k on a new GS with a dealer just to find someone who has the same (but older) bike and maybe did not buy it from the dealer, and has certainly not got £15k out of his wallet recently is getting a better deal than I am.

Good news for anyone with an old snotter though.

Us riding older bikes, neeed all the help we can get, so cut out the newer bike victim bit..............you're loaded if you can buy a bike less than 4 years old:augie

There is nothing new about discounting servicing costs on older vehicles, the car trade has been doing it for years.
