BALA BUNKHOUSE,THEN PONDEROSA

Hiya

Going to Mostyn Thursday for a meeting at 1800-2100.

would normally ride up and back same day but due to the lateness of the meeting I'm going to stay in the bunkhouse in Bala.

Going to go to the world famous Ponderosa for breakfast friday morning if it's not to far away?

directions or gps location most welcome

On your way back South, try a ride over the Hirnant Pass and Bwlch y Groes, if the weather is good the views are beautiful.

I can't post the route as I'm away from home.

Try linking up the following villages it will take you via some great mid-wales roads that you may well already be aware of.

Going North to South at Mallwyd turn left on to A458 for a mile or so then turn right down a tight B road (just on a bend) possibly marked "Pandy" that leads on to Llanbrymair.

At Llanbrynmair turn left for 20 yds on A470 then turn immedeate right on to B4518 toward Staylittle and eventually on to Rhyader.

Great stretch of road on a fine day.

Thanks for the routes fellas,

the Ponderosa was great,the food there is really good,the Dee Valley down to Llangollen is beautiful,broad leaf trees everywhere

PW, I did plot the route you gave me into the sat nav but I got tyred by the time it came to ride it and headed for home so it will be done another day
