Top team of people:bow
Bike was recovered to them on Thursday with brake failure. Friday afternoon they tell me that the ABS pump has gone and that they are in touch with BMW to try and get it replaced even though the bike is 3 1/2 years old (only 9600 miles on it). Phone call on Saturday to say that BMW have agreed to pay for the part and 50% of the labour to fit it:thumb2 Should have the bike back by next weekend. Great result, was looking at a bill of over £1400 otherwise.

Got the bike back today all fixed and serviced:clap Thanks to Robin, Gary and crew for sorting out the stuff with BMW :thumb 1st class service:thumb2
Note to all abs owners, get your brake fluid changed every 2 years:rob

That's good news, mate. The Balderston crew seem to be a very reasonable bunch.:thumb2

I just wish they'd move out of their current premises to something more spacious out of town, but that's a minor point.

I thought there was a move out Hampton way on the cards ?

Yeah, I heard that talk about a year ago, but nothing since. :nenau

It'd be good for them to get more spacious premises and better parking. Someone mentioned there was a chance of them going on the same site as Sycamore BMW at Werrington, but that seems unlikely.

Well I know TJ posts on the forum from time to time so no doubt he'll be along in a minute to give us the latest info :augie

Last time I spoke to Robin he said this was a definite move. The land is secured and they've had to go through all the legal stuff, planning permission, architects bla bla bla

I think the idea is to do the build and move over the winter and having a spring launch next year.

Not too bothered about shopping at tesco but I'm sure not being next door to "booze and news" and the knife amnesty collection point will only be a good thing for business...
