Hi Guys,
a small question for those of you with the bar raisers, those putting bars up and back, on a R1200GS. Do they change your driving style? Do you loose a bit of agility or controls of the beast? I was wondering that they change your driving position, letting you being more up and back. Right or wrong?
Please tell your experience.
Cheers from Rome!:hug:hug:hug

I have the Nippy Norman up and back risers but put them on back to front, up and forward
Feels better off road and comfy on the road no difference in handling.:thumb

Does no effect handling just makes it more comfortable

I have TT's on my 1150 makes no real difference if anything stops some of the arm strain over long trips, you can move all the stuff around abit so it's just right for you.

Don't over tighten handle bars as they can be painfull when you connected with'em on way over the top. (personal tip)

Rednose - I have up and back risers and noticed no difference in the handling, but a huge difference in comfort. :thumb

handle bars, levers, armitures, mirrors, screen it all gets in the way when you become a human missile.

I've got the NN riser and they're brilliant :thumb

I found with the stock risers I ended up with a pain in my left elbow after 200 miles but everyting is fine now with the much improved riding position :D

I still can't get my knee down :nenau

my hubby has just fitted nippy normans risers to my 1200 as i suffer from pain in my left elbow and shoulder..........whenever i ride any distance on me bike.......cos i only got short arms and i have to lean to reach the bars.........i really hope this cures the elbow problem............i have also had dog leg levers fitted......not ridden the bike since the risers have been fitted...will let ya know after the weekend.........................;)
