Someone was selling 961, with bar risers, which got me thinking I could do with them on mine. I think the chap was using Rox, but there’s a million different versions of Rox riser.

Anyone done this and know which are the best Rox to fit, and also if the brake lines need to be changed?

I am also interested in doing this to mine. There is plenty of vague solutions on Norton Access, but no one specifically seeming to answer the question, or be able to point directly at the optimum bars to fit (I have the fat bar on my 25 build). Hopefully we tease someone out on here that knows how to get it done without a lathe and a shaper which someone on there has done. Nothing much better on the NOC site. I also would just like to get the best possible rise and pull back without changing the brake lines.

I did have a look at the Rox risers, they might well work. I’m looking at these;

Or maybe these?

I bought these after doing a little research.

The stainless steel bolts were slightly too long and needed around 10 or 20 mm grinding off the end as they hit the bottom of the existing threaded handle bar mounting holes.

There's just enough length on the hydraulic hoses but I needed to remove the headlight and unplug and reroute the wiring loom to the right handlebar switch housing. I also removed and altered the position of the securing cable tie fastenings on both sides to give a little more movement. The original positioning of the wiring didn't appear to be following the obvious route.

The riding position has significantly improved with this cheap and simple modification.

I ignored the safety warnings on the Amazon ad

I've ordered these, they seem to fit a variety of bikes - I'll report back

Been looking into this myself and found the following from the facebook Norton Commndo & Dominator group.
The important number is LEH.00039 23100/S, think I'm going for these, SW Motech quality items.

I fitted the Rox risers for fat bars to my 961. Bit of a scutter to fix getting the Allan Key through the hole to tighten but do-able. No problems with cable and hose length and the difference to ride comfort is brilliant. I bought the Amazon cheapies before I bought the Rox set, I bought the correct screws to replace the wrong ones supplied, but was not particularly excited by the quality of them and did not fit them. Lot of force going through these in a heavy braking situation.
