My minds eye
I've been on here for a while, and probably been too reclusive to be honest, so I thought I'd put a little post up.

I'm not a great fan of organised road rides to touristy places, nothing wrong with them though, just not my cup of tea. I do however like just taking the GS out and exploring more out of the way places. I grew up in South Africa, and find it frustrating with the lack of open spaces and kak weather over here. Don't misunderstand, I'm gratefull for where I am, and what I have, I just can't help thinking that there is more to life than this..

I have a small workshop here that keeps me tinkering on bike related things, the downside is, is that it is in danger of turning me into a recluse, and that's no bloody good either...

Are there any like minded folk out there fairly nearby that see snow, ice, and inclement weather as a good reason to take the 2 wheels out, or just feel like riding for the hell of it?

See here chap.

Organised hardly descries a typical UKGSER East rideout. More of a flock than a squadron.

24th - prolly about 12-15 local tossers or how about the 25th and meet up with Monty, me and one or two others.

Hi Uncle, why not join us on the 24th for our jaunt out to Aldeburgh? The only 'organised' thing about this ride is the date and the target destination, oh yes and the fish n chips.

Thanks both of you.
Yes, I saw the Aldeburgh run. I parked up there last Sunday, in the blizzard, and walked 5 miles down the beach, and went exploring round the old bomb testing site at O.N. Came away with all limbs still intact, and some nice pics to show for 9 hrs out in the snow :)
