Went with the guys for a 200k ride today along the Bataan Death March route, a lot of WW2 history here in the Philippines - I visited MT. Samat a few months ago where theres a museum to the final battle against the Japanese in 1942.

Our destination was "Yorkies" ex uk Para's Hotel and bar, who's place is almost at the start of the march. All a bit surreal ! as his bar is like an english pub! anyway,
lunch was Fish n' Chips with mussy peas, and a mug of tetley tea!.
Back on the route, we pass markers every 1km to remind us of the history of what happened 65 years ago, all very sobering, and the ironic thing was we were all riding Japanese motorcycles
