The Canbus system needs a special Battery Charger if you wish to plug in directly to the bike? i believe this is correct

My question is can you use the BMW canbus charger on an older model i.e. can you plug in to a 1150 with the 1200 battery charger?

If you believe BMW then you do.

If not, a £20 trickle charger will work, in my personal experience, on a 54 reg 1200 and 07 reg 1200 GSA.

What no answers it to tecnical, should i contact BMW or steptoe
