2 sun or snow flake for temp ---- i select sun
3 SAE or CCA ------ i select SAE
4 then it ask to select battery rating - this is where i am stuck - would any of you know what the rating should be set at?

Depends on what make and amp hour the battery is.

When you get a battery amongst all the useful instructions warning of the dire consequences of eating the battery and pouring the acid into your eyes are other useless titbits of info.

One of these hidden away as an after thought facts and which the battery manufacturer thinks is of no interest to you, seeing as well be spending all your time attempting to eat the battery will be the battery CCA.

You need to know the CCA of your particular battery to work out it's condition.

hi guys,
thanks for the replys but none the wiser on what rating i should set my tester at
As my original post i believe i am right in the steps i take until i need to set the rating, the lowest the tester will go is 200

wonder if this post could be put in 'Font of all wisdom'?

Many Thanks001.JPG
