Battery Warranty - views please


My CB1300 battery died at 3 years old. Never Optimated & the immobiliser was a constant drain.
My last GS was hooked up on the advice of a tosser & was still going strong at 7 years old when chopped in. Needless to say, so is the new one! :thumb

I don't think anyone here disputes that a fully charged car/bike battery is a happier chap than semi flat one.
Unlike a deep cycle leisure battery (caravan, golf buggy etc) which needs to be fully discharged to avoid developing a memory.
I even run power tools or mobile phones totally flat before charging.

But for sure the bike battery is always bristling with life & it works for me.
