After recently replacing the battery on the Guzzi, the GS got jealous and decided it needed one as well.🙄
Looked through my maintenance log, hmm, bought in 2011.
Cant complain about that can I.
The Guzzi one lasted 8 years. Would have lasted longer if Id checked the fluid kevel more. Tends to drop quite a bit. Always thoughtbit was due to its location and heat.

It was an Exide AGM, still make them, one of the cheaper batteries out there.

If you use them or at least charge them now and again to keep them awake, they should last for a long while... The long winter months left or permanently on trickle is not what they're made for...👍 I've only mostly lost batteries that were not healthy on a new acquisition... I've killed 2 with neglect in 37 years... Boiled one in a hot summer as a courier and damaged an AGM by leaving the grips on... Oops...
