BBC4 TV is showing the award-winning film, Of Gods and Men which is the true story of monks in Algeria.
The film was shot at the Toumliline monastry near Azrou in Morocco's Middle Atlas mountains. The sole survivor of the massacre now lives in Midelt.
One of the actors is Michael Lonsdale who was a villain in the Bond Moonraker film.
