Bead Breaker - Small and Compact - Easy to USE

Hi, all, my friend does fabrication work and has made a few motorcycle tyre bead breakers suitable for moto x wheels and all other types of wheels up to a 160 width. Its simple to use, all you do put the breaker on either side of tyre next to bead and wind the nut in.

I have one in my tool box for workshop use and my trail pack for when im out and about on the Yamaha WR, even if at moto x track.

Saves a major task of breaking tyre bead in the middle of no where, to fix your puncture

Looks very good but I have no problem breaking the bead on a GS just using small tyre levers, it hurt your hands though

You're right...I'm just losing a battle with myself to spend £40

It's getting the bead back on the rim of a rear GS which is the real problem but found using a ratchet strap around the circumference helps if you're only carrying a small pump

i did it once

With lighter gas from a blowtorch, then chuck a match at it, it does work,but its proper scary,and is not for those with a nervous disposition and those without a fire extinguisher.

i tried the lighter gas thing, your right, its un nerving a bit...
the breaker looks a handy little thing, i use a thinned down spade myself, and jus jump on it, iv never used anything else,

Have I missed something or does it only do the front tyre on a GS?

It says up to 110 width on the advert, which is right please, 110 or 160? I have an offroader with 100 and 130 widths

What's wrong with this for £8?

Go over the top of the tyre & if need be use 2 packers to spread any load.

Hi, it will do 160 tyres, as some 160 tyres only have a rim size width of 110mm or 11cm. Check the width of the rim not the size of the tyre width as this fits over the rim. I am able to get wider ones which will fit up to a 180 tyre. Hope this helps. Thanks David
