Beak bags & Beak storage?

Hi Folks..
I spotted a few photos on ADVrider of bikes with "beakbags"..
I am thinking of supplimenting my "spare" set, and carrying a hand pump, following recent events .

What are peoples experiences of these beak bags? Was thing of making up a bracke to go under the beak, or under the area mudguard to store, spare cluth lever, pump and puncture kit and maybe other small bits, whilst touring.. figured it would be out of the way and not too noticable...

Am i missing a major downside or undersight here?

Do you have a picture of the beak bag (or a link)?

If I was attaching something around the beak, i'd want to make really sure it could not come loose at motorway speeds/ bumpy B road and get caught up in the front wheel
