Beak ???

Been flicking through the books of toys for the GS and came across the beak thing, apart from the looks do they serve any purpose .... have to admit they change the lines of the bike in a good way (my view) but seem a lot of money if only aesthetic .....

Just fitted one to my 30th anniversary GS at cost from BM dealer of £41. No practical benefit but Looks good with new led Aux lights. Pure vanity

They seem to have doubled in price since I bought my 2007 GS. However even then they were selling on ebay for around £50. Must help a little with catching some of the road crap but I got mine mainly because it made the bike look better IMHO.
