What can I say? In my opinion (and lots of others) the single best navigation purchase I’ve ever made. I had the first version and to be honest, it wasn’t my cup of tea. But I then bought the Moto II when it came out and it’s been my go to navigation unit ever since. It’s that good that when I watched the ABR review below and out of pure vanity, I ordered the Anniversary Edition, which in turn means my Metal Moto II is now for sale.
This is the more expensive gunmetal version and is in perfect condition along with the universal mount and two sets of fasteners, which allow you to move it from bike to bike without hassle (I do use it on more than one bike, the battery lasts all day and it’s really easy to take off and simply put in a pocket when you leave the bike. Paired with your helmet, it beeps to tell you that you’re approaching a turn and then again at the turn itself + it has small light that flashes at the same time. Incredibly unobtrusive and really does allow you to concentrate on the ride. Planning rides on the App or the web is super simple and the off route re-calculation works seamlessly. (I can’t locate the original box so it’s packaged up super safely in a Wunderlich 1250GS footpeg box.)
