Just a short report and a few pics from an excellent Easter weekend in Belgium.

Myself and Mark 71 travelled down from Essex on the friday morning. Despite the poor forecast weather was bright and breezy in Dover. :thumb2

Channel crossing was choppy.

We got to Ronse in good time and set up shop before the rain arrived.

People where arriving at a steady pace.

We then absconded to the bar for soup and lots of beers.

The English speaking table was the place to be. :beerjug:

Friday night poured with rain but come Saturday morning the sun put in an appearance.

After breakfast it was off to join the gentle off road ride.

Some other GSers arrived as we were leaving.

We knew from reports from the UK that snow was on the way. Luckily it only appeared in force about 25 kms from Calais. We managed to make it ok.

Mark was impressed with the weather. :D

Had a fantastic time and met some great people.

Thanks for looking. :)

Hey Tricky - glad to see you had a great trip. You look a bit tanked up in that last pick  ?

Looks like you enjoyed the mud and some of the others even more so. Pictures were good - any more? You realise it was only sunny becuase I didn't go, or you would have had the gail force winds and rain that I kept with me in Colchester  Hope you have washed and buffed up your steed ready for the next trip :thumb

Mermoto :D

Ah, so you go by the name of Tricky :)
It was nice meeting you guys.

Cheers,
Michel

Good pics Michel.

I saw three Irish GS's on the M20 heading towards the Shuttle and Dover direction in the arly afternoon of Friday. I assumed they might have been Belgium bound?

Nice report Tricky - I couldn't make it this year as I was out here offshore riding the mother of all storms. Looks like you had a great time - the local GSer's are real friendly bunch and like a drink or 3 themselves:thumb2

Anyone else from over this side go??

AndyT:cool:
