Berchtesgaden campsites

has anyone, or does anyone know of campsites near or around Berchtesgaden.
are there any near the "eagles nest" itself?

Kehlstein Haus or 'Eagle's Nest' is on the Konigsee side of Berchtesgarten (as to the town with houses), so there should be a campsite nearby ...........although don't know of one.

There's not one near Kehlstein Haus, because it's 6000 ft up and the only way up is on a German Tourist Board controlled bus trip (about Euro 15)

Some good roads round there

THERE IS A GOOD CAMPSITE ABOUT A MILE OUTSIDE THE TOWN CENTRE.CANT REMEMBER EXCACT DIRECTIONS BUT THE TOURIST INFO GIRL POINTED ME IN THE RITE DIRECTION.OWNER USED TO HAVE A YELLOW 1150 IF I REMEMBER RITE.
