Best alternative to flip-flops?

Picked up a pair of Sidi Canyon Goretex today....€259. Wouldn't have the same level of protection as the other boots being discussed in this thread but I am very limited as to what I can actually get closed around my massive calves.
They are very comfy straight out of the box.

Very good value if you where buying with strong sterling.

Spent a month around Namibia and SA with a few guys back in 2014. Of the 5 of us on the trip 4 had the Sidi Adventure. All agreed it was a great boot for the trip and a good compromise against a full off-road boot. Whilst all accidents are different the only bloke to have a problem was one of the guys who had a slow off on an 800 GS and the bike came down on his ankle which broke it ending his trip. He was wearing Formas which whilst a great boot just weren't up to the job.

We were up on the pegs allot and the Sidi's were comfortable here as well having enough strength in the instep not to cause a pressure point. Also managed the heat of the Namib desert well....very impressed....although squeaked like burggery with all the dust.

Thoroughly recommended.

Just spent a week and 2000 miles in my new (Well, used once by the previous owner :D) BMW Gravel boots which I bought to replace my BMW All-round touring boots.

Superbly comfortable, didn't squeak, and completely waterproof in the showers we did get.

All in all I'm extremely pleased with them.

Are you a foot model, by any chance.......... that's a beautifully staged shot!!,

Sent using hocus pocus........... boo!

My best boots are my Sidi Adventures which I bought hardly worn for £20. Probably the best purchase I've ever made. Mind you, moments earlier I had just handed the same guy £9k in cash for his GSA.

Or maybe they were the most expensive boots ever at £9,020 but with a free GSA thrown in? :nenau
