Best/cheapest Pannier Frame?

I want to mount some panniers on my Dakar - I have no major trips planned so for the time being I want to fit some ammo cans which will do the job for me - only size available locally are 12"x8"x8".

Which frames would suit me best?
If I was going to get proper panniers in the future I like the sound of the Hepco And Becker Gobi.

Since down the road you're looking at a H&B pannier, you might want to go with their rack and adopt your ammo cans to them. Or poke around and see what other racks the Gobi panniers will fit on. Somewhere I read of fitting problems with a H&B rack on a 650 (not sure which model) - I know when I put H&B on my 1150 it was a nightmare installation. I'd hope the 650 is better.

they are and have been developing for some years now a 650 pannier set, These are going to be some panniers.They should be ready for mid 2008. A lot of development work still needed.
