best hard luggage set ?

Could anyone point me in the right direction REF hard luggage....

I own a 2003 R1150GS, and want to fit side luggage !

Has anyone got expierience with Givi or a similer none BMW brand....

The thing is I dont like the Box tye silver things and I know that i dont want to have to attatch racks and bits to the bike....

BMW do there own and this is good but it is so expensive....

Any help is good help thanks in advance.

Search this forum, dude! There are many threads discussing the pro's and con's of different luggage options.

Aluminium boxes are the strongest and have the most carrying capacity.

Givi/Kappa are the cheapest but you will need racks attached to the bike.

BMW panniers only need a small plastic rail fitted to the bike, so the bike still looks good if the boxes are fitted or not. They don't hold the most but they don't cost much more than a new Givi set. You can regularly find them for sale on eBay.
