This might need a poll I guess, but, what's the considered opinion?

We have the Autocom Pro 7 which is superb.....but dead :( Gave up ghost near start of our trip which was about the worst time possible.

To get it running again will cost £163  - Just for Rider to Pillion

As Bev is now on her own bike we are looking at bike to bike options, and for that we need two sets of stuff, hence, should it be Autocom, or give up and go for A N Other system.

Used Sonic previously and their system was extremely rugged (well, it NEVER failed, was s/h to start with, but had no VOX) don't know the new gear.

Don't know Starcom or others, had Nady but very average.

Thoughts please - bike to bike biased (haven't given up on autocom but £4-600 is a lot if it knacks up after 2 or three years again)

Ta ;)

Think you will find you can't get Sonic now :( excellent stuff.
All of their ;) gear goes for government/ police use.

I've been very pleased with IntaRide. Autocom quality at a fraction of the price. The standard PTT button is shite but the 'pro' one is OK. The VOX works well enough for this not to matter to me but I know some people prefer PTT.
