Best mount :-)

After researching on this website and weighing up the pros & cons, to choose between TomTom RII and Z550 I was swayed towards Zumo.

The kit comes supplied with a choice of 2 bike mounts. Here is my question:

Is the kit up to the job? Or will the Zumo shake loose and take flight ?

I have installed the U bolt etc. and on the face of it this seems secure enough.

What say you?

Has anyone mounted a Zumo 550 on a 1200 RT? If so what mount did you use and where did you position it.

Ram is very strong. Never had either a 2610 or a Zumo 550 work loose and fall yet and am on my third R1200GS with a lot of kilometres. Cheers!

which mount

just bought zumo550 for my 1150gs. I like the position of the migsel mount but not sure how it fits around the clocks and if you forget to remove your zumo does it lock on? would it be easy for the scallys to twist and snap it off? Also looking at the tt lockable one but dont like the idea of mounting it on the small thin crossbar to h/bars. Any advice/ideas welcome
