Looking for ideas for armoured leather jackets / pants to wear in Hong Kong. Temp gets as low as 10 deg c in winter and up to 32 deg c / 95% humidity in summer. I have a BMW airflow hi-viz jacket for summer which can be worn with a liner so warm, although quite bulky in winter.
I'm thinking about having some made to measure leathers knocked up...I'm 6'5" hence not likely to find on the peg. I'm thinking 2 piece in kangaroo skin for weight / temperature. I'm thinking not too heavy so can wear in Autumn / Spring with not much else on then in winter with a sweat shirt / thick t-shirt etc.
Anyone got any suggestions re type of leather (cow, kangaroo, other?), best place to have made etc.
