Best Price for 650GS

Been looking around and am liking the 650GS, can these be bought for around £3000 or under (if possible ) secondhand, wont be looking to actually buy until summer though

Hi there.

the 650GS is a fab bike.

if u look for an earlier model, say pre 2002, you may well be able to find one around the three grand mark.

take a look at www.f650.co.uk there is a section for buying and selling, and you may be able to get an idea from there.

There are a few out there under 3k mostly 2500-3000 4-5yr olds ones .so you may need abit of work, which could bring your price up to 3000 anyway.
buy cheaper now than in summer.
for example

2000, ABS, 10,000 miles, £2,300.00
2001 13,000 miles,£2,395.

I just bought my 650GS '01 about 3 months ago for 2850 its done about 18k but its got a fsh.

Another one I looked at was only 2200 (ish) but it had 35k, that also had a FSH. (Just in case this info is of any help). Good Luck with the search.

As a guide for you I just sold my immaculate May 2003 650 Dakar (Htd Grips, but no ABS) for £4,100 on e-bay. There was a lot more interest in it this time than there was back in November, but Springs on its way.

I reckon I could have got a bit more if I was prepared to wait, but I was happy with £4,100.
