Hi there.

I'm coming back to the world of GSs after 6 years in the wilderness. I had a huge screen on my 05 12gs but can't remember what it was - possibly a puig.

What are the recommendations of you more experienced GS riders? I'm 6ft tall - will I need a better screen (been riding sportsbikes for the last fe years) and if do what's the most popular?

I've looked at the MRA vario which I think looks odd, the Givi airflow which looks very effective and is good value and also a puig again.

Done to death I am sure but IMHO the best screen is actually a GSA screen!

bear it in mind when you consider all the good words on the `done to death` thread.

Best by far I have used is the Givi Airflow with winglets added....awesome....90MPH visor up stuff and intercom load and clear..search the threads, lots on here swear by them.

Cheers

Givi ordered....should be here before the bike...story of my life that!

Will the Givi screen fit an adventure? My local dealer are telling me it won't fit without "modification" whatever "modification" is.....

Thanks

Tom

Should fit no problem - you just need to remove the additional Adventure screen bar.

Fitting a Givi Screen

It is a great screen. Just remember that the fitting instructions are not that good and you use most if not all of the fitments off the originak screen, including the grommets etc.

When fitted with winglets, completely transforms the BMW.

All fitted - well happy! Happy pillion too, the screen gave enough protection to be able ride without earplugs and chat fairly easily with little Em through the helmets - spot on!
