best tyre for wear

What is the best tyre for mileage on a twin shock R65? Years ago Continental (?) did an extra read (8mm) rear,had one and did nearly 12k on it .Got conti Go on rear nearly worn out in 3k!

I fitted conti go tyres on my Rs, nice profile and very grippy but the tyre was shot in 2k.

I've yet to find anything better than bt45. Always open to suggestions though.

It was a toss up between the Bridgestones and Avon roadriders on my 100/s.
I went with the Avons last June,5000 miles now and have been very pleased.
Loads of tread left and kept the profile.Would fit them again for sure

I have RB2 / K112 Conti's on my twin shock R100RT - they're pretty good
