Beta MOT problem?

I’m not sure if I’ve got a problem or not………..

My Beta 4.0 Alp has its first MOT on Saturday and after replacing a few bearings thought I’d check out the lights etc.

Ignition on – nothing – no lights (front or rear), no brake lights, no horn and no indicators.

When I start the engine everything works as it should.

Now for the life of me I can’t remember if it’s always been like that.

Will I fail my MOT?

My Berg was the same, the engine needed to be running for the lights etc to work.

No problem for MOTs

I'm guessing day two, the first morning you woke up in Chefchaouen.

The relentless pissing gave it away during the next week.

The little Beta passed its MOT today

Although, strangely, the horn and indicators now do work without the engine running.....some wiring loom delving IS needed

I was surprised to see I'd only managed 3500 miles in three years - must get out more

check the wires a round headstock ......


turn it full lock left then try ..........if work do the other way if it works sell it and buy a jap bike
