I'm planning a trip later this week, campsite and some hill camping.

Is it snowy ?

Or rainy ?

Was staying there lastweekend.

Betws itself was clear and dry.

Above approx 6-800 ft was snowy on the ground, and we had gales with gusts upto 80 on the hills. Significant wind chill.

Is a lot calmer there now, with clearish skies and sub zero temp. Was -6 this morning in the clwydians. Forecast for next few days seems stable, but cold.

About -7 last night.
Forecast is mainly dry for the weekend, average temperatures.
Am I right in assuming you're heading for the Dragon Rally?

Thanks for the info, I'll be over Thursday or Friday for the weekend.
No not the dragon rally, four wheels then two legs up in the hills, then a night on a site and a good feed and drink
