I’ve recently returned to an RT after several GSAs and am having difficulty getting used to the larger rear brake pedal - I seem to be lightly resting my foot on the pedal whilst riding (and not braking) and activating the brake light whilst not intending to - intercom messages remind me to move my foot,

I can’t see any obvious adjustment in the pedal/level and other than training myself to ride with my right foot sticking out a bit, has anyone any suggestions which may assist

You could try using a shorter boot .....or adjust the connecting rod to the master cylinder which has the effect of raising or lowering the pedal? The pedal itself is not adjustable but the connecting rod is plus there's also small adjustment possible on the clevis pin itself. I had the same issue but some minor teaks of connecting rod and pin did the trick.

Good advice. Thanks I’ll try that

I ride with front of foot (ball of foot) on the footrest, always have since sports bikes, sliding foot onto brake pedal when required, avoids putting any mild pressure on rear brake.

Same for me, I thought that’s how everyone rides :D
- I feel flat footed if riding with the heel of my boot against the footrest, if you get what I mean .?
